The world is meaningless, there is no God or gods, there are no morals, the universe is not moving inexorably towards any higher purpose. All meaning is man-made, so make your own, and make it well. Do not treat life as a way to pass the time until you die.
Do not try to \"find yourself\", you must make yourself. Choose what you want to find meaningful and live, create, love, hate, cry, destroy, fight and die for it. Do not let your life and your values and you actions slip easily into any mold, other that that which you create for yourself, and say with conviction, \"This is who I make myself\".
Do not give in to hope. Remember that nothing you do has any significance beyond that with which imbue it. Whatever you do, do it for its own sake. When the universe looks on with indifference, laugh, and shout back, \"Fuck You!\". Remember that to fight meaninglessness is futile, but fight anyway, in spite of and because of its futility.
The world may be empty of meaning, but it is a blank canvas on which to paint meanings of your own. Live deliberately. You are free.

So yea, I happen to agree with some of this, granted it sounds a bit like it was written with a pessimistic undertone, and if EVERYONE lived this way ( no morals and such ) we'd have chaos, but I do believe some of what it's saying can be applied with great success :)

I completely agree. And when did you get a change of mind? I have been thinking of this for a long time...Still, I can't think of a long thing to say.

I've been in a weird state of metamorphosis for a few months now, like I'm out of school and just trying to find the best path to take my life down and thought I'd turn to philosophy. It's definitely changing the way I think and I'm figuring ways of dealing with issues that seem to work for me. I find it's tough to think differently then those who would try to influence you at first, but if you stick with it developing your own beliefs becomes steadily easier.

METAMORPHOSIS!? (I had to look that up in the dictionary :P) That's...I don't know! Will you still be the you that you once were?

This is my third and hopefully my final comment on this post. I doubt that you didn't, but IF you didn't watch the full Bioshock 2 trailer, here it is (it is fucking amazingly awesome!!!)

<a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGMzkNApMUI&feature=pyv&ad=4128718804&kw=preview%20bio%20shock%202">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QGMzkN ApMUI&feature=pyv&ad=41287188 04&kw=preview%20bio%20shock%202</a>

And there's also the Gamestop Bioshock 2 preorder add-on video (pretty funny). Anyway, other than that, I think I'm becoming an athiest (if that's how you spell it). I didn't start after you made this comment, I (I'm guessing just like you) have been thinking (or questioning) God (even though I'm not supposed to) (ignore this, I'm just thinking of how many parenthesis I'm making). You and my brother seem like you both have been getting a metamorphosis. It's almost like your both alike (apart from you being able to make flash and all that).

I MADE A LONG COMMENT!!! (sorta)...so many parenthesis...
